Part 1 - Basic installation and configuration

This tutorial contains information on how to set up the Expeditor integrator runtime, install and configure the Expeditor Toolkit for Eclipse.

Part 2 - Extend messaging infrastructure to devices using micro broker and Expeditor integrator

This tutorial gives a quick start for ISVs and Business Partners who want to enable their (smart) devices with reliable communication through messaging (e.g. gateways, smart meters, PoS systems, scale systems, and other smart devices using messaging protocols to integrate with existing IT infrastructure components).
Part 2a – Developing an Application which uses JMS Buffered Client
This part demonstrates the implementation of an application which uses the JMS Buffered Client so that it is able to communicate with an Expeditor integrator instance. The set-up can be based on point-to-point communication using queues as well as publish/subscribe scenarios using topics.)

Part 3 - Extending the Expeditor integrator Web UI

Expeditor integrator comes with a Web interface to help vizualising inner processes (monitoring) and supporting runtime configuration. Although this interface already exposes all standard features to manage the Expeditor integrator platform it can also be extended for custom use cases (e.g. displaying received and locally stored data from smart meter). How this can be achieved is described in this part of the tutorial series.

Note: There is an end-to-end messaging security guide based on TLS/SSL freely available through IBM developerWorks: Messaging security guide for IBM Lotus Expeditor 6.2.3 integrator software
